"I was brought on to this project to decorate and bring extra life to the space. I wanted to simply enhance Erik's brilliant design and vision. I added details such as busts, sculptures, art pieces, lighting fixtures, and reading chairs. I also helped arrange and organize the room and book displays"
"Traditional Design through a Pop Art lens"
"I collaborated with artist Chris Collins to bring something old but new; a library that was familiar but different. Chris always wants to push boundaries and do things in his own style. He has this pop art sensibility. For example we brought in these busts of authors and famous figures, reminiscent of the large libraries and art collections of Europe, and painted them these bright stark colors. Just one of many details we added to create this unique modern private library"
Books That Changed My Life
"Chris wanted to host a podcast in the library about the love of books and he wanted a reading room set that was comfortable and encouraged conversation. I sourced armchairs, side tables and lamps to put together a cozy and comfortable set for the show"
Meeting Room

"Chris wanted a reading room in his office space where people could lounge and relax. A space that encourages people to pull a book off the shelf and flip through it. We also wanted it to feel equally communal, where people could sit together and discuss their favorite book or share ideas. We filled the room with comfortable modern furniture in contrast with metal industrial bookshelves full of books on photography, graphic design, interior design, fashion, and art. A comfortable space with an intention to inspire and study visual art.
Additional Details
"I also designed various other projects throughout the office space. We custom built these 10 ft tall bookshelves that act as a backdrop for selfies and testimonials during live events. In the hall we added glass display cases and filled them with some of Chris's rarest books. A private museum display. We also added a projector in the hall that displays a custom montage of footage related to the rare books below it.
